The Illinois Housing Development Authority to Create or Restore 172 Units of Permanent Supportive Housing in Nine Communities Across Illinois.

172 units of permanent supportive housing communities in nine locations across Illinois will receive funding to create or restore units from The Illinois Housing Development Authority (IHDA). IHDA, through the Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) Development Program, will be financing the construction and preservation of affordable housing throughout Illinois. The housing locations will be located in Chicago, Collinsville, Deerfield, Matteson, Maywood, Peoria, and West Chicago. The housing communities will be serving the special needs populations and persons with disabilities, including residents who are transitioning out of nursing homes and into community living.
