Naper Settlement will receive a grant of $700,000 from the state of Illinois to help fund construction of a new welcome center. The new center will feature ADA-accessible features to accommodate more guests as well as an interactive digital wall that spotlights photos and other archives to tell the story of Chicago’s western suburbs. The project is due to break ground within the next year.
