Kirkland & Ellis is currently in talks to acquire 600,000 square feet in the Salesforce Tower alongside the Chicago River. If the lease for the Salesforce Tower is complete then it could potentially be one of the largest new office leases in downtown Chicago for years to come as it would be the first office lease of at least 600,000 square feet since 2005. The tower is being developed by Hines with Pelli Clarke Pelli as the designer, with plans to open in early 2023.
