GBI Hosts Journey to Net Zero™ Learning Lab in Chicago – October 28

Chicago, IL — The Green Building Initiative (GBI) will host its Journey to Net Zero™ Learning Lab: Chicago on October 28, an experiential half-day workshop designed to equip building professionals with the knowledge and tools to drive carbon reduction across the built environment.
Hosted in partnership with JLL, and the Illinois Green Alliance, the event will take place at JLL Chicago Real Estate, 200 E Randolph St., Chicago, IL 60601. Participants will gain hands-on experience using GBI’s Journey to Net Zero™ (JNZ) assessment and calculator while exploring strategies for reducing both operational and embodied carbon in buildings.
The Learning Lab offers a structured framework for evaluating carbon performance, setting realistic decarbonization targets, and applying standardized methodologies that support credible and measurable progress toward net zero. Upon completion of the in-person training, attendees will become certified experts of GBI’s Journey to Net Zero™ program.
