First Row Of Cambridge Avenue Townhomes Tops Out Cenacle Retreat Site
)
The first row of townhomes on the former Cenacle Retreat land in Lincoln Park have topped out. Addressed as 2329 North Cambridge Avenue, the row of homes extends off a short segment of the street extending south off Fullerton Parkway, a segment that could be mistaken for an alley. The first set of eight townhomes was permitted on April 2nd with a reported cost of $4.11 million.
MC Construction Group is the general contractor for developer Ogden Partners, working with designs by Booth Hansen. With the first row at full height, foundation work is underway for the second set of homes, which were permitted on April 4th using the address of 2333 North Cambridge Avenue. The reported cost for that permit is $4.275 million.
Each permit calls for eight four-story homes. All dwelling units will have attached garage parking, with most accessed from a central driveway between the two rows of townhomes. Drivers will enter and exit from the north end of the development only, using Cambridge Avenue off Fullerton Parkway. An entrance at the south end from Cambridge will allow pedestrians to come and go, but not vehicles. See full article at Chicago YIMBY!
