Chicago City Council approves $3B Foundry Park redevelopment in Lincoln Park

The Chicago City Council has approved plans for Foundry Park, a $3 billion redevelopment of the northern portion of the former Lincoln Yards site. Developers JDL and Kayne Anderson could begin construction on phase one this fall.

Located on the western edge of Lincoln Park, the project was scaled down from a previously proposed megadevelopment with a mixed-use, live-work-play neighborhood anchored by commercial corridors and 34 acres of public green space.
