Bally's slows work on permanent Chicago casino amid standoff with city over video gambling
Bally’s is slowing the pace of construction on parts of its permanent casino project in Chicago’s River West neighborhood amid a dispute with the city of Chicago over a possible expansion of video gambling terminals.
The company told NBC Chicago on Sunday it notified the Chicago Community Builders Collective it is resetting the pace of construction on elements of the casino complex.
