Construction has reached the second floor on the four-story, eight-unit residential building at 4529 North Western Avenue in Lincoln Square. As concrete block rises, so too rises the brick finish, which now covers most of the ground-level façade.

The entity of Western Front LLC got a permit to build with a reported cost of $3.463 million back in August of last year that they had applied for in January. Hanna Architects handled design work, while Amazing ty is named as the general contractor.

The four-story building includes a basement level that will contain parking spaces for eight cars. Tow roof decks will be featured, with one atop the fourth floor and one over a portion of the garage. Terraces and balconies on all four above-ground levels will add to the available outdoor space.
