29-Story High-Rise With Public Park Coming To West Loop
A 29-story apartment high-rise is slated for the West Loop after receiving approval from the City Council on Wednesday.
The project being developed by Domus Real Estate Group at 215 N. Racine Ave. was approved for a DX-16 zoning designation, typically reserved for Downtown’s core and synonymous with some of Chicago’s most notable skyscrapers.
A proposed park for Fulton Market would be privately managed and located near West Carroll Avenue as part of a 347-unit residential proposal at 215 N. Racine.The 347-unit building will include 70 affordable apartments, with a mix of studios, one-, two- and three-bedroom units offered at city-set income levels.
