Rebuilding Together Metro Chicago believes in a safe and healthy home for everyone, and is dedicated to improving the homes and communities of elderly, disabled and low-income homeowners so that they may continue to live in warmth, safety and independence. Since 1991, through no-cost home repairs and accessibility modifications we have repaired over 1,500 homes and 200 community facilities, with the assistance of tens of thousands of volunteers. We work in partnership with communities, companies, trade unions, service clubs, and volunteers, with an overall goal to improve the homes and neighborhoods of residents who live in communities that are navigating the impact of organized abandonment.
