The importance of designing tight, efficient homes to reduce energy costs and environmental impact is absolutely the right approach to designing responsible housing. However, these changes to building designs are now focusing our attention on how to improve the health performance of our homes in addition to their energy performance. A healthy environment for the occupants of a home should not be overlooked or treated as an add on.  Furthermore, delivering a healthy home is not achieved through a singular product. Multiple applications and regional considerations are a factor in designing a complete healthy home system that manages to filtration, purity, humidity, and fresh air. During this session we will take a walk down a path of understanding the fundamentals of a Healthy Home, what IECC 2021 and other building codes tell us from the industry standpoint along with the awareness of Healthy Air today by homeowners.
